DescriptionUrsa was inspired by Jina’s memories of family adventures, especially evenings spent gazing at the stars far from the city. She wanted to capture the beauty and scale of the night sky while keeping the feeling grounded in togetherness. The galaxies and nebulas reflect wonder and discovery, while the cub inside the larger bear symbolizes family, protection, and passing a love of the outdoors from one generation to the next.
The Auction
A bear-illiant way to back Tayside’s youth!
At the end of the trail the sculptures will be sold at auction to raise much-needed funds for YMCA Tayside, supporting a variety of youth work services to young people aged 8-25, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
