There and Back Again
Description“There and Back Again” celebrates Tayside’s trails, from Cairngorm mountains to Angus beaches. It highlights agriculture, golf courses, wind turbines, and the River Tay with lochs and forests. Rural Scotland’s accessibility makes Tayside a walker’s paradise, inspiring exploration, the name ‘There and Back Again’ echoes Tolkien’s idea of journeys beginning at one’s doorstep.
The Auction
A bear-illiant way to back Tayside’s youth!
After the trail ends, the sculptures will be sold at an auction evening on 17 September 2026 at the historic Scone Palace.
All money raised will support YMCA Tayside and our youth work services to young people aged 8-25, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
