Star Gazing
DescriptionThis bear is inspired by nature and stargazing, all the forest animals looking up and admiring the stars in the night sky. Scotland is well known for its amazing dark Skies perfect for stargazing. The bear itself represents the Great Bear star constellation (Ursa Major). This bear is an overlooking protector for the smaller animals below.
The Auction
A bear-illiant way to back Tayside’s youth!
After the trail ends, the sculptures will be sold at an auction evening on 17 September 2026 at the historic Scone Palace.
All money raised will support YMCA Tayside and our youth work services to young people aged 8-25, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
