DescriptionOakley, the Oakbank Bear, was created to be more than just a bear on a trail – He represents the heart and spirit of the Oakbank Community, Inspired by strength, kindness and resilience that we nurture in our children, Oakley was thoughtfully designed by our Oakbank children to embody the values we hold dear: achievement, compassion, opportunity, resilience and nurture.
The Auction
A bear-illiant way to back Tayside’s youth!
After the trail ends, the sculptures will be sold at an auction evening on 17 September 2026 at the historic Scone Palace.
All money raised will support YMCA Tayside and our youth work services to young people aged 8-25, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
