Aurora Ursa
DescriptionI have named my bear Aurora Ursa, inspired by ‘dawn’ and ‘bear’. Growing up in and around Perth, I drew from its landscapes and skies. I have witnessed many striking sunrises and sunsets across Perthshire, where vivid colours and shifting light create a natural symphony. My design captures these elements, alongside the iconic scenery and rolling hills, reflecting renewal, new beginnings, discovery, and adventure through cycle of day and night.
The Auction
A bear-illiant way to back Tayside’s youth!
At the end of the trail the sculptures will be sold at auction to raise much-needed funds for YMCA Tayside, supporting a variety of youth work services to young people aged 8-25, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
