Pollinator Strategy
DescriptionRebecca Lindsay, a Fine Art graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, co-directs Macaulay College in the Outer Hebrides, a working farm supporting adults with additional needs. Her design for Winston draws on the textures and tones of the Hebridean landscape, with vibrant colours inspired by views across the farm and imagined winter light. Reflecting Scotland’s Pollinator Strategy, the piece highlights the importance of honeybees while playfully referencing their love of honey. Created at the college, Winston became a lively presence, inspiring creativity and a wider sculpture trail.
