Merak – Find your BEARings
DescriptionFind your bearings with Merak the Bear. Named after one of the two pointer stars in the Ursa Major constellation, Merak helps guide you to the North Star, long used by travellers to navigate. The character was created by Jenni Wilson, a visual communications professional working as an animator, illustrator, and graphic designer. She produces bespoke content for print, film, and screen, and also creates stained glass art each summer
The Auction
A bear-illiant way to back Tayside’s youth!
At the end of the trail the sculptures will be sold at auction to raise much-needed funds for YMCA Tayside, supporting a variety of youth work services to young people aged 8-25, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
