YMCA Tayside and Aviva Partner to Boost Opportunities for Young People in Perth
YMCA Tayside is proud to announce a new partnership with Aviva, strengthening support for young people across Perth through early intervention, employability programmes, and community initiatives.
At the heart of this collaboration is the Learn2Earn project, an innovative initiative designed to address a critical gap in support for S2 students who may be at risk of not progressing into a positive destination after leaving school. The project will provide tailored, early-stage guidance to help young people understand their strengths, identify their passions, and explore future pathways.
Learn2Earn will ensure that every young person engaged can build practical and transferable skills, increasing their confidence and supporting progression into meaningful work, further training, or education. By intervening earlier, the programme aims to prevent disengagement and improve long-term outcomes.
The initiative will also develop a scalable model of early intervention employability support, with the potential to be replicated in other communities, contributing to wider efforts to tackle youth unemployment and promote inclusive opportunities.
In addition to this impactful programme, Aviva has also been confirmed as one of the latest sponsors of the Bears Big Adventure Trail 2026. Through this sponsorship, Aviva is helping YMCA Tayside bring the large-scale public art trail to life, supporting young people while celebrating creativity, and community connection across Perth & Kinross.

Visitors will be able to spot Aviva’s sponsored Bear when the trail launches in summer 2026, showcasing how business, community, and creativity can come together to make a lasting difference.
