Learning Programme
Schools & Learning Groups
Be part of something bear-y special
Alongside the main bear trail will be the mini bear cub trail. These bears will be designed by budding local artists from schools and community groups. We have an education programme and team ready to work alongside schools so that as many people as possible get to benefit from being part of the bear pack.
Adopt & Decorate a Sculpture: Schools will receive their own smaller sculpture to design and decorate, ready to be displayed alongside the 30 large sculptures as part of the community art trail.
Curriculum-Linked Resources: We will provide engaging educational materials that explore art, storytelling, and local history, ensuring the project is not only fun but also enriching for students.
Showcase Your Talent: Once completed, the community Bear cubs will take pride of place in the city alongside the main trail, showcasing the imagination and artistic talents of our local young people.
A Lasting Legacy: At the end of the event, your school’s sculpture will return home, leaving a permanent reminder of your involvement in this incredible project.

“Enormous impact. It has been the most talked-about project we’ve done for ages and has threaded through every layer of school life.”
